Join Newport Mamas & The Daisy Edition Flower Farm for a fun and flower filled design workshop hosted at the Harbor Island Resort in Newport. We will have a "Bouquet Bar" fully stocked with local blooms and provide instruction on the principles of floral design. You will learn about different flower varieties and categories, as well as special strategies to really make your designs pop.
Flowers and vase will be provided, and each participant will go home with a beautiful table arrangement that is sure to brighten any space. Bring a friend (or a few) for an evening that's sure to be delightful and inspiring. All materials provided.
Food and drink will be available for purchase at the 1639 restaurant on site.
All flowers used in this design workshop are grown using regenerative methods at The Daisy Edition in Middletown, RI. The Daisy Edition is owned by Heather Meehan, a farmer-florist who has been growing her own flowers and making farm-fresh bouquets for the past five years. You can find us weekly at the Aquidneck Growers Market in Newport on Wednesdays from 2-6 pm and shop our pre-order bouquets online.

Note on parking: Parking at the Gateway Center is free for the first 3 hrs for Newport residents. For non residents it’s $2/hour.
